We hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and holiday season. We have been having a wonderful time swimming in the ocean everyday. Angel is getting good at the boogie board. Santa was very good to Angel and she got a lot of little things. A mermaid, a little doll, a little hammock, a little tea set, a little tshirt Charlotte made, but I lost and i feel so sad, I pray and project we get it back. It was dark blue with a tyedyed heart on it in red and yellow.
We had prawns for dinner.
Today we met a doctor that looked at Angels rash ´(which is gone but just left white patches all over)and confirmed it s an allergy to the sun and told me to get some almond oil, a nutro cortisone crema and sunblock.
At least its nothing more.
So other than that all is well. Been having a great time visiting with Charlotte. Well we are in pochutla using the 8 pesos an hora internet, instead of the 15 pesos but must go because the camineta is leaving soon.

5 sleeps til Christmas
Well this is certainly a change from last year. It´s hot and lovely. The beach at night is really beautiful in the sunset. I sold a book yesterday, To Zipolite with Love and that made me so happy. J & C are staying for Christmas so that is really nice. It´s nice not to feel all the stress of the Christmas rush. We went to Pochulta yesterday but it´s just biz as usual. There are christmas trees and ornaments, I bought ours, a little one a few weeks ago and Angel and i decorated it with shells, beach glass wrapped with wire and tiny little lights i got here that change in different patterns, I take and photo and put it up in a bit.
So all is well and we pray all our family and friend stay safe. I had news today from Lauri it´s cold and a big storm is coming Sunday, so we are sending love and positive energy to you all to keep warm and safe and for safe travels and good shopping deals on these last hectic days of Christmas shopping.
I will touch base again soon, my friend Charlotte may let me use her Skype so I will trying to call my loved ones very soon.

Angel and the octopus
Angel got to touch a big octopus today and then to hold it. She thought it was really slimey that´s why no smile. Been a busy morning. First washed my sheets and a blanket and hung some other stuff out to dry. Visited our friends and got bottles of water that I freeze in her freezer and put in my cooler to keep things cold. Then carried the big big blue bottle of water up the stairs to my room. you pay 50 pesos deposit and then just 10 pesos everytime you need a new one. this is your drinking water. Then we painted some little signs i need. Then we put more cream on Angel´s rash, it´s getting better slowly, a few more days, it was really bad and all things take time. It´s really just a bad case of exzema i believe. Then we went and had lunch at a friends house. now im blogging and angel is playing Disney Fairies.
and it´s only 1:17. We usually get up with the sun. Life is great. No tv and we don´t miss it at all.

right now Angel is talking to people from Ireland, the other day girls from Finland, lots of people from Mexico City, Australia, Italy, Uraguay, last night a Chinese Canadian couple from Toronto had locked themselves out of there room and we helped them and friends from California. It´s super cool. Adios Amigos.

Mazunte Cosmeticos Naturales
Angel has been battling a bad rash. I thought it was heat rash, but i think now it was a combo of that and soap allergy. we went to the Mazunte Cosmeticos Naturales and got some lavender and calendula cream and manzanilla soap and she is doing much better. I put the cream on everytime she dries out...like 3 times the first night. and a couple of times during the day and i put the lavender on top of that and we wash our hands and especially her nails, she loves to play in the sand and dirt...her bottom is always filthy from playing in the dirt. Anyhow she´s getting much healthier. she was all white where the tan wore off on the insides of her arms and backs of legs. Not to pretty, but she´s on the mend. Lavender is so awesome, anti bacterial, anti fungal, anti viral and something else. I love love love it. I go crazy when i run out. but we are good again, except it wasn´t the 100% pure lavender. I need to get some so who ever comes down please buy a bottle of aromaforce lavender and eucalyptus and bring them to me.
This week and until the end of December it will be get really busy here as all the people from Mexico city come for a holiday. but after it will calm right down. Apparently the last four years there haven´t been a lot of tourist because of the problems in Oaxaca City but it´s totally fine now...so come on people, come visit Zipolite...it´s gorgeous here.

Pescado, Camrones y Eba
Fish crab and shrimp, that´s what we bought fresh yesterday and we ate the fish last night, it was delicious. angel played soccer on the beach during the sunset and it was gorgeous. She´s had heat rash though and we are using salvila(sp?) as i am out of lavender, and eucalptus...so anyone coming down please bring some...we use aromaforce brand. other than that all is wonderful.

Success-Angel met her dad today!!

Amazing Rescue by the Lifeguards in Zipolite
The other day we saw an amazing heroic rescue of a man who went out to far in the ways. The Zipolite Lifeguards (who recieve no pay for their incredible feats of bravery) raced to his rescue.
I don´t think he realized how much danger he was in. I was sure scared for all of them. There are 4 parts. One reason is at one point i stopped videoing because i thought, oh my God, what if this guy dies, i don´t want to video that...and then because i was i was afraid my battery would die. Anyways, check it out. It´s amazing. You will just see this little tiny dot in the background...that is the guy.
