In Pochutla Today- Market Day!

This is our last market day...for a while. I got tears in my eyes this morning as we walked for the camineta. It´s time to move on soon. We have had such a wonderful time and Zipolite really embraced us and it´s sad to leave. But I pushed the tears away as I focused on the moment. Mexican people are so patient...it was hot already at 9 am and I could get grumpy and frustrated as we wait and wait, but instead i look around and see a beautiful hummingbird buzzing all the flowers near me and i am calmed, contented and at bliss in the moment.

Be in the moment everyone! I hope you can focus on the beauty around you and be happy.

Let´s the Rides Begin!!!

When we heard the fair was coming I was nervous, because I knew Angel would want to go but I thought the rides might be not be maintained. I was very pleasantly surprized that they had great rides for kids. Angel got really spoiled as our friend Tom helped out. The rides were 15 pesos each and Angel went on about 9...repeating some rides. She had a really terrific time. Viva Zipolite!!!

I just loved the lights and colours and would love to one day have a show with great big prints...of course that is always my dream for all my photos

Zipolite Days

Angel is so lucky. We just had Zipolite Days here and it was great! They had a parade and Angel go to hold this stick with a lantern thing on top. We had a lot of fun. She carried all the way from town to the church where there was a band. Along ways...and it was pretty heavy. I kept asking if she wanted me to carry it and she said no.

Then we watch the band. And she loved the tuba. She didn´t want to go home...this was thursday night.

It´s really cool, the have this huge paper mache dolls and people get inside and dance around...it´s really funny and the band plays. When we were at the area where the band played there were 3, a police man, and a man and a woman...and it made you wonder what could be interperted from it all. Really funny, good entertainment. I am so glad we saw it.

Did you ever ride a Wump?

Oops, wrong video, here is the one of Angel reciting next...this is us relaxing at El Boheme having a coffee and Angel is having Pan Francais...French Toast and watching the waves. It´s awesome!

Angel has been practing her reading alot. Oscar´s mom lent us a few Dr.Suess books and Angel is enjoying them immensly. This is her reciding ¨Did you ever ride a wump? in front of El Boheme at Shambhala

The Nude in Zipolite

This is the Nude. At first I thought it was decadent and the fact there is a pool when the town doesn´t have enough water...but they are very nice to us there and Angel has a wonderful time in the pool. I tried to put the

bug in there ear that if they are successful they need to give back to the town...and that they really need a community center with a family place and playgroups for kids like the ones we had in Nelson.

We have some nice friends staying there right now, and since it´s still under construction the prices are about $600 to $800 pesos a night...Outrageous for Zipolite, unfortunately this is becoming the trend as place like Alquimista charge $1000 pesos a night, ...The Nude does plan to build something for everyone though, with plans for 30 more rooms...a 3 storey in the back and some along the side.

We have sure felt spoiled hanging out there! But we still love Mother Ocean and spend time playing in the waves and then swim in the pool too! We just love the swings beds with canopies, so cool!!! Very Exotic! and yes your allowed to go Nude!!!
