Hi Daniel I really appreciate the birthday wishes and will greatfully accept the lavender oil.

Angel and I have been sick, we got some weird thing, a stomach flu or maybe something we ate, but were very ill the other night, we are feeling better now, but Angel is weak.

Punta Cometa is beautiful but I didn´t get many pics that day as my batteries died. here is one though.

We had a great morning, we went to Punta Cometa for my birthday. It was really nice.
I´ll write about it later, Angel wants to go and i can get any photos to go up...it´s slow..

Many Italians here right now, I guess because the euro is really strong against the pesos, and French Canadians, because I guess there are good deals. Robby- the best dog in Zipolite! Angel´s best dog friend, Robby...pronouced Rowby or Rooooby...

or Rrrrrooooby...Anyways, he was the best dog...so sweet and kind and Angel just loved him.

The other night Robby passed away, which is very sad in itself but what is worse he was poisoned, or so people say and they say others peoples dogs were killed as well. It was a very sad event, and so sad that a very nice dog that was loved and cared for by a wonderful family had this happened. No se porque. Muy muy triste. Angel handled it well, but he is deeply missed.

Zipolite Night Photos in the Street

I wish I had taken photos of all the vendors at Christmas, the labour just to set up each night, and they have such beautiful work. Charlotte bought Angel a pretty amber necklace from Yogi for a going away present. They´ll be leaving soon. I will sure miss you Charlotte. Thanks for all the encouragement and support. A Tribute to John

My Dear Cousin " Big John " passed away yesterday, he is greatly missed.

I cried all yesterday...and then in the night wrote a little poem..this is just a snippet

I just wish I could be home to share and comfort all the ones I
love so much.

Death is so surreal. We miss John. I´m so glad Angel had such a nice visit
with you the last time we saw you. I´m so glad I got to hug you and say I love you and
that i had a chance to say good bye. I just wish it wasn´t the last time.

But as i wrote in my book last night...
A spirit as wild as your can not be easily tamed,
and i feel your spirit will roam freely and visit here and there,
and i feel you will visit us ...

He said he was going to come down...
And I feel you are here...

Angel started school today!

Angel started school today, interesting, it is just kindergarten, but a chance for her to make friends, and she did already....Oscar, and it turns out that i know Oscars parent from 7 years ago.
And we got invited to a birthday party today and tomorrow we go to Lalos, so we are busy girls. Spent the morning cleaning the room. Ahhhhhhhhhh! just felt a breeze...finally , it has been hot today but now the wind has started so that will help cool things off.
I need a bike to take Angel to school. So will look in Pochutla and see what i can find. Beto told me he would buy it from me when i leave so just need to get one.
Okay, Kelly and Eva write me, tell me what is happening, i heard there was flooding.

These are real! Eva you would love these. I bought the bulb and i´m going to try, he said it will take 20 days to bloom, so we will see. Aren´t they gorgeous. I just bought the bulbs this morning in Pochulta.

Hola Kelly and everyone snowed in!!

Hola Kelly, it was great to talk with you this morning. We are in Pochutla running errands, it´s market day and there is lots of prep as tomorrow the 3 kings are coming. I bought Angel a little drum yesterday and two stuffed puppies today. All is well. The waves in Zipolite were huge yesterday, and the lifeguards were very busy. We stay safe though and stay close to the shore.
Here are a bunch of photos. I need to start on my book soon. I need Photoshop but I can´t find it and the one place that had it, won´t let me use it or it´s gone...not sure what happened there. So that´s to bad. Other than that life it great. Saw Gloria yesterday and I´m going to put together a really nice blog of the Karma Cleansing Ceremony.
Still lots of people here, lots of Italians, and people from Mexico City.

At the end of the celebration, everyone took a little boat and lit a candle and made a wish and put it in the ocean.

I just love this photo. I will fix it in photoshop later(that´s Angel´s head in front), but this is so beautiful. She was so happy and we were all chanting-singing and she was touching(blessing) everyone with the cedar and floral bouquet-wand. It was wonderful and I actually got this photo as it was really hard with out flashing the whole time. This event should be recorded by PBS or National Geographic. Some one needs to come and document this beautiful ritual. It was so inspirational and beautiful. They need proper lighting to do it justice.

Shambhala Zipolite New Years Celebration

Happy New Years, Felice Nuevo Años

Hola Alexandra, Yes I remember you! We went to the most beautiful celebration at Shambhala on New Years! Happy New Years everyone. Muchos Besos.

There were many people in Zipolite for Christmas and New Years but it´s filtering out now.

All is well we had a nice New Years at Shambhala was increble.

First we went up early and made a floral crown, then took some photos, later in the evening we went for the celebration. I wasn´t sure if Angel could sit thru it all but it was so amazing she just loved it.

The celebration is one for all faiths, and there was chanting and dancing and there was a priest/shaman I believe and Aztec dancers and drumming. And we all had candles. I am just quickly explaining and not doing the beauty of the event justice. It was just so wonderful.

Everyone was wearing white and we all had floral crowns, and everyone chanted and it was really fun and interesting and exciting. At the end we went down to the beach and everyone burned the flowers, this is the burning of negative karma past and present and cleansing.


While on the beach, Angel asked this woman(Sophie) que es en su mano. What is in your hand. She had a shaker-rattle thing and she ended up giving it to Angel and asking her to dance. She was the only kid up there with all these other dancers, dancing around the fire. I had tears in my eyes, I couldn´t believe it, it was so magical and special.

Then at the end Gloria had a wonderful dinner but Angel and Charlotte were tired, so we just got out little boats with candles and put them in the water and lit the candles, made our wishes and sent them out to sea.

Well I will write this bettter later for the book but it´s good enough for now.
Thanks so much Gloria for the most awesome New´s Years I have ever had.
It was very spiritual, cleansing and I was smiling and feeling wonderful afterward.
