Monte Aban Videos & Slideshow

http://angelinmontealban.blogspot.com

Hola, I put up this blog for Monte Alban, it's a bunch of practice videos that I made for the BTJE CONTEST.

Later I realized I didn't really have any video except for these, so these are keepers as each is special...you'll see ..the one with the butterfly is very cool, but so are the ones with the birds.

Enjoy, hope your having a lovely day, we've had every type of weather today...huge dark clouds this morning, then sun, then HUGE RAINBOW, then more rain, dark clouds, and then hail burst forth from and the heavens, and Angel really enjoyed that, and now we've got sun.
It's a beautiful day!

Prayers

Sending an Angel and prayers to all the people affected by the Volcanic Ash! What a strange unexpected world we live in. Thank God we made it safely home and that we weren't some place that we would have been stranded. Part of my family is affected at the moment as are 1000's of others, and we can only pray and send positive energy to all those poor tired frustrated travellers, that they can keep their patience, and health and sanity during this really difficult time. Muchos besos to you all. Keep safe. We love you! We are sending prayers, Hugs and Kisses.

We Are Home!

Sorry for not logging sooner! Was just vegetating for a few days. Some funny things happened at the airport, I will blog them later. For now, just say we had the most awesome time in Oaxaca. Beautiful city, beautiful people! Glad to have had people to pick us up in Mexico City, it's too big for me, I prefer smaller places...so next time a smaller airport...Okay just enjoying being home. Angel and I keep saying...I can't believe we are home....hmmmmmm! Hot bath...first in 5 months...wow...or just brushing teeth with water from the tap is such a special treat!
Will blog more later on. Besos for now.

Video of Arbol del Tule

Arbol del Tule (2000 year old tree in Mexico)

We went to El Tule yesterday, it was a wonderful experience but so different than expected. I remember sitting on the train 20 years ago and going passed this gigantic tree, the people i was with were sleeping or talking and didn´t see, later when i asked people told me about the gigantic tree. I remember it as just a huge tree in a field, i don´t know if that is correct, the church must have been there, but now there are fences and a garden and it is a tourist spot. Yet it was still quiet and peaceful and beautiful. Birds singing and flying around, and we had a lot of fun looking for faces in the tree. There is definitely a lion and I saw an old man...that looked a lot like Grover from Sesame street, and a crocodile.
What do you see?
I only put up some of the photos, will add more when we get home. Not long now! Angel is super anxious and we are both ready. We will miss it here but 5 months away from home is a long time...Although Mexico is our home too!
