Sleeping in a hammock!

I love the way the babies here take naps ...they just sort of close thetop of the hammockand rock em..until they fall a sleep...they can´tget outandthey are rockingsomuch they can´tdo much else.
Angel and I were talking that when she has a baby we will get a hammock...so we can play rock abye baby!!

Angel wants a squirrel!

In Mexico City we couldn´t get close to the squirrels...they warned they bite...but yesterday Angel got to hold a little squirrel...she has dreamed of this and now her dream came true...of course now she wants one!

You know I was one of these moms that thought it was awful for my kid to play guns. or cowboys or whatever...but in Mexico i just give up...as you leave the store in Huatulco ...what´s the impulse buy...it´s a toy gun...we go to the beach...some little girl has one...Angel grabs it and starts playing...later she tells me she was the bad guy...I give up...it´s Mexico...she´s half Mexican and that´s what they play her. Last year we had big drama because her little friend was always carrying a toy gun and pretending to shoot her...this year they are playing so well. Just playing...because I´m not all dramatic...sometimes you just got to let go...Not always...but this time I did and we are much happier...Here´s Angel playing with her friends Bumble bee gear.

Sad day for Zipolite

I find this really sad...apparently Canadians(and being Canadian...i find this shameful) are responsible for this...building these condos will change Zipolite forever...you can´t stop progress...maybe the mosquitos can or the swamp it´s right beside...soon Zipolite will no longer be the the beach full of palapas and hammocks....so Hurry on down and enjoy paradise...before it becomes the next Cancun or PV. Triste.
